Raw/Vegan Chocolate Pie!

This has got to be one of my favorite desserts…

So decadent, rich, chocolatey, yummy deliciousness…

What you’ll need…

Chocolate filling:

2 cups of raw cashews

1/2 cup of coconut oil, liquified

1/2 cup of honey

1/2 cup of water

2 tsp of vanilla

3/4 cup of cocoa powder (I use 1/2 dark and 1/2 regular cocoa)

Chocolate crust:

1 cup of pecan or cashew meal (I didn’t have so I used all purpose gluten free flour)

1/2 cup of cocoa powder

5 whole dates (seeds taken out)

1 tbsp of vanilla extract

Directions

Place all ingredients of crust and mix all together. Spread out into pie dish to make the crust.

Then take all ingredients of pie filling and place in food processor/blender and mix all together to get this dreamy consistency…

Now, spread on top of crust and slice some juicy yummy strawberries to place on top!

Place in the fridge for about 30-45 min to let set,

then serve!!

      Sure! Sometimes I do that to bring out the chocolate. Just brew it first. I will say that the chocolate is really rich so u may not need it! I would mix what I have first, taste, then see if you need it!
