Ok so we all love the childhood staple…ramen noodles. Only problem is, heart attack in a bag.
So another reason for my love of Whole Foods, healthy alternatives!

Simple as pie. I cooked the ramen according to package directions except I only used a 1/2 pack of seasoning rather than the whole thing (and I didn’t add it until later). Once I drained the noodles, I heated up the ramen broth, added a splash of Siracha, a splash of lemon juice, sliced mushrooms, and the 1/2 pack of seasoning. You can add other veggies, but I kept it simple so my kids wouldn’t get scared off. I cooked it on med low heat until desired temperature. I also served it with balsamic and agave roasted Brussels sprouts!
This meal was a total hit! I even got my oldest to eat an entire serving of Brussels sprouts!
